LeBron James hooks up St. Vincent-St. Mary’s football team with custom cleats

Playing for the alma mater of LeBron James has its perks, even when you’re not playing for the basketball team. With football training camps are popping up all over the country now with high schools starting their real preparation for their seasons, the St. Vincent-St. Mary’s football team.

James gifted the St. Vincent-St. Mary’s custom LeBron soldier football cleats, similar to the ones that the Ohio State Football team has been outfitted with over the years. But this time, James was able to give the gift to a program he actually once played for.

Although LeBron’s high school football career didn’t last very long, his passion for the sports has been there for a long time. He will often share his football set-ups on Sunday’s with his millions of followers on Instagram and his business partner Maverick Carter has even said that LeBron is hoping to own an NFL football team, in addition to an NBA team, once his playing days are over.
