LeBron James might really be the greatest teammate ever. Just ask Alex Caruso.
The Lakers’ point guard was boarding a flight when TSA agents searched his bags on Tuesday and found a herb grinder that contained marijuana.
They called the police and he was arrested for less than two ounces of marijuana, per ESPN’s Ramona Shelbourne. He was released after posting bond.
It’s just an unfortunate moment and a bad judgement call from Caruso, who is an unrestricted free agent.
But that didn’t stop the jokes from flying, of course. Because the internet is always going to internet. Everybody had jokes about LeBron James posting Caruso’s bond — including LeBron James himself.
James used the Randy Moss gif and said he was pulling up with “straight cash homey.” It was absolutely perfect. Put it in the louvre.
