LeBron James is one of rap music’s foremost taste-makers when it comes to highlighting new music or giving fans a sneak peak of music that is close to release. His Instagram stories have become something of a proving ground for all rappers and that includes his NBA brethren: Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers aka Dame D.O.L.L.A.
LeBron woke up bumping Lillard’s new album entitled “Big D.O.L.L.A.” on his Instagram stories and kept playing it during his weight room workout later in the morning.
“Big D.O.L.L.A,” which will hit streaming platforms at midnight on the East Coast ,will be Lillard’s third album release and his first since 2017. Although Lillard has done his best to end speculation that he would join LeBron and the Lakers after signing a supermax contract extension this summer, Lillard will join LeBron as a member of the “Space Jam 2” cast.
As for LeBron’s musical expertise, he executive produced a critically acclaimed album by 2Chainz that was released earlier this year.
