LeBron James gives shout out to Washington’s Emma Meeseman

Although LeBron James has been not-so subtly rooting for the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA, game still has to recognize game. And after the Washington Mystics defeated the Aces during last night’s Game 4 of the WNBA semifinals to advance to the WNBA Finals, James gave a shout out to one of the players who helped put the game away for Washington.

James actually followed the lead of his Lakers teammate Kyle Kuzma, who was also in attendance at last night’s Game 4 though not courtside next to LeBron, in commending Washington’s Emma Meesseman for her huge game. She finished with 22 points, with 13 of those coming in the 4th quarter to help put the game away.

With the victory, the Mystics secured a 3-1 series win in the best-of-five series. They will now head back to Washington where they will host Game 1 of the WNBA Finals against the Connecticut Sun, which will be Sunday at 3 p.m. EST.

By that time, LeBron and the Lakers will be entering their second day of training camp.
