LeBron James gets Lakers crowd going for Taco Tuesday chant in win

As far as starts to the season are concerned, what’s happening for LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers can’t be any more different from what they went through at the start of the last season. Anthony Davis had the first 40-20 game for the Lakers since Shaquille O’Neal and the team moved to 3-1 through four games, only one year removed from a 1-3 start.

And as the Lakers are winning for the first time in a long time, the Lakers fans are giving LeBron James some of the love that he didn’t get during his first year as a Laker. The crowd serenaded him with his ‘Taco Tuesday” chant on Tuesday night when the win was already wrapped up.

The Lakers once again used a huge second half to propel themselves to their third straight victory. They had a brief scare with Anthony Davis dealing with a shoulder injury, but they finished Tuesday night feeling good about their first four games. A 3-1 start after the drama and travel involved in their China trip is absolutely a win for the Lakers through the first seven days of the season.
