As far as we know, LeBron James was backing his hometown Cleveland Browns as they entered the season with high expectations. But only one team in the AFC North got a shout-out from the King on his Instagram story this Sunday: Lamar Jackson, quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens.
James saluted Jackson by quoting his postgame quip that his game of five touchdowns, three incompletes and over 300 yards thrown “wasn’t bad for a running back.”
Jackson’s game carried the Ravens to a dominant win over the lowly Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon.
Unfortunately for LeBron’s Browns, Cleveland was served a home blowout in their season-opener against the Tennessee Titans. It’s going to take more than that to get some Instagram love from King James.
