LeBron James favorite player among rookies for 3rd straight season

One of the most common narratives of LeBron James’ career over recent seasons is what he has tried to do push the boundaries of his professional career to inspire younger generations to push boundaries in their own ways. And between that, as well as being the NBA’s ranking superstar, James is a favorite among the NBA’s youngest players for the third season in a row.

NBA.com’s John Schuhmann released the results of the annual rookie survey where they were asked a variety of questions. LeBron received 38% of the votes from the rookies while Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant received 20% of the vote. It’s the fourth time since Schuhmann has conducted the survey that James has won the honor of ‘Favorite Player,’ winning it from 2017 through this year’s edition.

Even though LeBron’s season was cut short last year and the Lakers failed to make the playoffs for the sixth straight season, James still has the respect and reverence of the next generation.
