LeBron James congratulates Lakers governor Jeanie Buss on release of new tequila

LeBron James spent the weekend living his best life off the shores of Capri, Italy, celebrating his fifth wedding anniversary with his wife Savannah and having an all-around great time on his extremely expensive boat. But Monday for LeBron James means different things for him just like it does for all of us after the weekend and James decided it was time to do a little workplace networking, the type that you can only find on the Real Lakers of Los Angeles.

James congratulated Lakers governor Jeanie Buss on the release of a new tequila. If this sounds like it was ripped off from an episode of Bravo’s Real Housewives, it totally was. But nevertheless LeBron is playing his role on the Real Lakers, giving Buss a shout out on twitter for the “beautiful bottles” her tequila is in.

You can see the bottles on the Cincoro Tequila twitter page, which look like a cousin to the very expensive and very decadent Don Julio 1942.

LeBron’s love of wine has been well-documented over the last few years but he’s also become quite the tequila connoisseur, so you know he’s trying to get a few bottles from his Lakers boss for free. And even if he’s not, he’s scoring a few extra points with an ownership group that has had a little friction with LeBron and his Klutch cohort over the course of their first season together. As the Lakers look to get back to the postseason for the first time since 2013, mending fences is a first step towards keeping the whole thing together.
