Although the Los Angeles Lakers were outplayed for much of Friday night’s showdown against the Brooklyn Nets, LeBron James still managed to make a few highlight plays that showed his dominance in the Lakers second half effort.
Most notably, James had an amazing chasedown block on former Laker/current Nets All-Star D’Angelo Russell in the 3rd quarter. James struggled from the field early on in Friday night’s game but he responded in the third quarter with a more concentrated defensive effort.
While LeBron James is five rebounds and one assist from a triple-double, the Lakers offense has mostly been inept for much of Friday night’s game against the Nets. At the time of posting, the Lakers are 4-20 from the 3-point line and JaVale McGee currently leads the team in scoring with 24 points.
