LeBron James had jokes when he woke up from his afternoon nap on Thursday about the new, official name of the Washington NFL team. LeBron tweeted on Thursday about his disbelief that the team chose the Washington Football Team, as the official name, leaving behind their former mascot.
James joked that the Washington Football Team must have had some serious meetings that took a long time for them to land on something as generic as the Washington Football Team. It’s also worth noting that one of Klutch Sports’ first football clients, No. 2 overall pick Chase Young of Ohio State, officially signed his deal with the Washington Football Team today. Either way, James remains unimpressed with the choice and the lack of creativity.
James is also a longtime Dallas Cowboys fan, so making fun of the Washington NFL team comes pretty naturally to him. But more exciting than the generic name of the Washington NFL team, LeBron James is going to be back on the court playing against another NBA team later this evening.
