In a very well-time announcement, LeBron James, Drake and Maverick Carter celebrated the formation of UNINTERRUPTED Canada on Friday night in Toronto.
James is officially in Canada for the business announcement but it certainly helps that the annual Caribana festival and the return of Drake’s OVO fest are also this weekend. Although James has been promising a major return next season, there is only so much left of the offseason to enjoy for vacations such as these.
LeBron was spotted out on the town this weekend with his former Lakers teammate Lonzo Ball only a few hours before James turned up at the official announcement for UNINTERRUPTED.
UNINTERRUPTED Canada announced the deal on Tuesday, as well as the announcement of a few new programs that will air on the Canadian channel of LeBron’s Athlete-Empowering media brand. They already have shows in the works with Toronto’s Serge Ibaka and MLB All-Star Marcus Stroman.
