LeBron James celebrates Batman Day in honor of the caped crusader’s 80th anniversary

LeBron James is a big fan of Batman. In addition to his SpringHill Entertainment company signing an agreement back in 2015 with the same Warner Brothers studio that gave birth to the Batman movies, LeBron has also associated himself with the caped crusader in several other ways over the years.

James has said, for example, he would like to play Batman in a movie along with posting drawings of himself dressed up as the famous DC comics superhero. According to Kevin Durant, LeBron has also appeared to actually be Batman himself during critical moments of his NBA career. On Saturday, James continued to show support for Bruce Wayne’s secret identity by taking to Twitter to celebrate Batman Day.

According to CNN, you can participate in Batman Day by watching the famous Bat-Signal be displayed in 13 different locations across the world. Some of those cities where the Gotham City police’s searchlight call of a bat-shaped logo will be shown includes Rome, Paris, London, New York and in LeBron’s new home of Los Angeles.

Batman Day is celebrated every year on the third Saturday of September. Other events that are happening throughout the United States in celebration of Batman Day includes a panel discussion by Batman writers in New York and a Batman 5K run in Los Angeles. No word yet on whether LeBron will be attending either of those festivities.
