LeBron James becomes first ever to be top-10 all-time in points and assists

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers had yet another disappointing first quarter of basketball in Monday night’s visit to the Memphis Grizzlies, giving up 34 first quarter points and trailing by three after the opening stanza.

However, as he often does, James made some major NBA history with his play on the court. With three assists in the first quarter, James moved into 10th place on the NBA’s All-Time assist leaderboard, passing Andre Miller. That milestone helped James become the first player in NBA history to rank in the All-Time top-10 in both points and assists.

James is currently 5th on the NBA’s All-Time scoring list and will likely make it to 4th by season’s end as he entered Monday trailing Michael Jordan by 149 points.
