LeBron James and Rondo dish out assists in Lakers win Friday

Although the Los Angeles Lakers are long out of the playoffs, they still managed to have some fun on Friday night when they faced off against the Charlotte Hornets.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (aka Kenny Pope) had 25 points, four boards and four assists on the night which made the Hornets supporting cast look look like just that, nothing more.

Rajon Rondo had 17 assists to help pull the Lakers ahead of the pack, while LeBron James had a game-high 27 points and nine assists on the night. Also it was the 28th consecutive loss for Kemba Walker against LeBron James.

The Hornets may still have a change in the playoffs but they showed on Saturday night that they, like the rest of the Eastern Conference, lacks the same quality of LeBron and the Lakers.
