LeBron James and family forced to evacuate L.A. home due to fires

LeBron James and his family were among many who were forced to evacuate their homes in the Los Angeles area after wildfires in the area picked up overnight.

James shared what happened to he and his family via his twitter page in the wee hours of Monday morning as they tried to find a place to settle down for the night as the fires forced them and many others along the 405 freeway in Los Angeles to leave their homes.

James shared at just before 4 a.m. this morning that he and his family were forced from their home. A few minutes after that, James updated via his twitter that his family had found a place to stay for the night.

LeBron also wanted to thank the first responders who are still in the middle of the fire, which is being dubbed the Getty Fire, while also praying for everyone who is in the area of the fire.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, approximately 40,000 people and 10,000 structures were in the evacuation zone.
