LeBron James and Blaze Pizza promote return of LeBron’s alter ego ‘Ron’

Blaze Pizza is a fast casual pizza chain backed by LeBron James. Seven years ago, LeBron made his first investment in the company and since then they have opened over 300 locations throughout the country. In addition to investing capital to support and grow the brand, James has also been a proud ambassador for the company on social media.

Back in 2016, LeBron posed as an employee who was working at a Blaze Pizza location during the lunch rush for a video spot promoted by the brand. Customers watched as James carried pizza boxes behind the counter and discussed which sauce they’d like to select while the King insisted he was just a regular guy named “Ron.” According to a recent post, you can expect another cameo from Ron to be coming soon.

How exactly LeBron dressed in an Blaze Pizza employee uniform will be incorporated into an upcoming promotion is anyone’s guess at this point. But it could be something as simple as walking into a Blaze location and seeing James behind the counter one day just like he was three years ago in the video below.

It might also be interesting to watch LeBron or Ron effectively toss pizza dough behind the counter. One would think that his chalk toss has prepared him well for such endeavors, but we’ll have to wait and see what Blaze Pizza and King James eventually cook up on this one.
