Although many see the Los Angeles Clippers as the favorite to win the Western Conference next season over the Los Angeles Lakers, the folks at NBA 2K20, of which Anthony Davis is the cover athlete, ranked LeBron James and Davis as the top duo in the latest version of the iconic NBA video game franchise.
As part of their roll out for next season, the folks at NBA 2K started releasing positional rankings as well as the rankings of duos together. Davis and James barely edged out Paul George and Kawhi Leonard of the Clippers as the best duo, followed by Brooklyn’s Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant and the new but familiar duo of James Harden and Russell Westbrook in Houston.
Obviously Durant likely won’t play this season nevertheless, the combination of Davis and LeBron is forming the most feared duo in the league according to the iconic video game franchise. But while the Lakers look like a championship contender on paper and having the arguably the NBA’s best duo, having the best two players is far from a guarantee of winning big in what is anticipated to be the most wide-open championship chase in recent NBA history.
