LeBron delivers another game-winner to lift Cavs over Raptors in Game 3

CLEVELAND _ The sight of Cavaliers fans wearing No. 23 LeBron James jerseys is commonplace around Ohio and pretty much all over the United States.

A couple of Cavs fans dressed in James jerseys added a new twist on Saturday night when they wore goat masks over their faces inside Quicken Loans Arena, and their hero from Akron didn't disappoint.

The goat face is a reference to the G.O.A.T. _ greatest of all time.

James is in that discussion along with retired NBA stars Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, and others.

James added yet another memorable playoff game to his growing list on Saturday night when he made a floating bank shot as time expired to lift the Cavs to a 105-103 win over the Toronto Raptors and a 3-0 lead in their Eastern Conference semifinal series.

With the score tied at 103, James drove to the left of the basket and banked home the winner that and sent the sellout crowd of 20,562 into a frenzy once again.

James, who made a game-winning 3-pointer in Game 5 of the last series against the Indiana Pacers, haunted the Raptors to the tune of 38 points, seven assists and six rebounds in 41 minutes.

The Cavs can sweep the Raptors in the playoffs for the second year in a row on Monday.

James made a jumper, a 3-pointer, three free throws, a layup, a fade-away jumper and the floater in the final eight minutes while Kyle Lowry and the rest of the Raptors eliminated what was a double-digit deficit.

Each team had five players reach double figures in points.

The five Cavs in double figures were James, Kevin Love (21 points, 16 rebounds); Kyle Korver (18 points); George Hill (12 points) and Jeff Green (11 points).

The top five Raptors were Lowry (27 points, seven assists); OG Anunoby (18 points); C.J. Miles (13 points); Serge Ibaka (11 points) and Jonas Valanciunas (10 points, 11 rebounds).

Lowry scored 15 points in the fourth quarter and Anunoby scored 11 points in the final 12 minutes. The two combined to make 8 of 15 shots from 3-point range in the game.

The Cavs started fast in front of a raucous crowd that included former Cavs All-Star guard Mark Price, and led 16-4 with 5:07 to go in the first quarter following a 9-0 run with five points from Korver and two points apiece from James and Love. The Raptors trimmed their deficit to 24-19 by the end of the quarter as Lowry scored seven points in the opening 12 minutes.

James dropped in three layups and a free throw early in the second quarter to extend the Cavs' edge to 34-27 with 9:12 on the clock. Miles and Anunoby became more assertive and helped the Raptors get to within one point on three different occasions, but the Cavs remained in front with a 16-2 spurt to close out the first half and lead 55-40.

James went into the locker room with 15 points at halftime, and proceeded to throw down a dunk to give the Cavs a 57-40 advantage with 11:28 to go in the third quarter.

The Raptors went on a 12-0 run, but the Cavs again regrouped and got back into an offensive flow to lead 79-65 at the end of the third quarter. Love made an assortment of shots on his way to nine points in the quarter and James chipped in seven points.

James finished 14 of 26 from the field, including 1 of 4 from 3-point range, and 9 of 11 from the free-throw line.

Raptors star guard DeMar DeRozan did not play in the fourth quarter after scoring eight points in 28 minutes.
