LeBron celebrates Memorial Day in L.A. with Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook and Tristan Thompson

LeBron James will not be a part of the upcoming NBA Finals for the first time in nine years when the Golden State Warriors tip off against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday. But that doesn’t mean King James is mourning his first postseason absence since 2006.

To celebrate Memorial Day weekend, LeBron spent time listening to his friend D.J. Meel spin Nipsey Hussle records while smoking cigars with Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook. During a video that Meel posted on Instagram, you can also see LeBron and his former teammate, Tristan Thompson, breaking it down on the backyard dance floor in the Los Angeles.

So even though Magic Johnson abruptly resigned, his former coach passed on the Lakers job and the Warriors will look to three-peat without him having a say in the outcome, don’t cry for LeBron James. From the looks of things, it’s more than all good in California these days.
