'Leave my club!' - Arsenal fans react to what Willian did in training ahead of Burnley clash

Arsenal fans have taken to social media and sent a clear message to the board regarding Willian's future.

The Brazilian arrived at the Emirates Stadium during the summer transfer window and on a free, after his contract with London rivals Chelsea expired at the end of last season.

His exit from Stamford Bridge was softened by the arrivals of Hakim Ziyech as well as Kai Havertz, although it did appear the Blues would be made to rue the decision on the opening weekend of the new Premier League season.

On his Arsenal debut against Fulham, Willian recorded two assists and had a hand in Alexandre Lacazette's goal as his new club cruised to a 3-0 win which prompted fans to get really excited.

The excitement did not last long as Willian has improved that assist tally by just one since that game at Craven Cottage and is yet to score in 14 appearances in all competitions.

With that said, it's a different story in training.

Ahead of the Gunners' Premier League clash against Burnley the club uploaded an 11-second clip to Twitter of Willian scoring a rather brilliant goal in preparation for his return to Mikel Arteta's starting XI.

Swapping passes with a teammate, the 32-year-old finds himself in a 1v1 situation against an Arsenal goalkeeper and produces a delicate chip to find the back of the net.

Given the north London outfit have struggled for goals from open play in the Premier League in recent weeks, one would have imagined that fans will be encouraged by what Willian did in training.

However, some of the responses has been the total opposite, with a section of fans calling for Willian to be sold in the January transfer window.

Take a look at what's been said on Twitter...

The Arsenal fans hoping for a swift Willian exit could get their wish when the January transfer window opens.

According to El Gol Digital (via Sport Witness), La Liga outfit Real Betis could be interested in signing the Brazilian.

In addition, the report states that Willian would be a direct replacement for Joaquin who is said to be very close to hanging up his boots at the end of the season.
