Learning to live with Covid-19 must include the end of too many pupils being unnecessarily sent home from schools.
Government regulations are outdated and disruptive to education by requiring full classrooms or huge bubbles to stay away and isolate because of a single virus case.
Regular testing and monitoring, combined with the protection of a vaccination programme that should be extended to
children in secondary schools, is a better answer in almost every way.
