A learner driver and her supervisor have had their licences suspended after being charged with high-range drink-driving on the NSW Central Coast.

Police say they pulled over a car driving without headlights just before midnight on Tuesday at Berkeley Vale.

They breath tested the 54-year-old woman learner driver who allegedly returned a positive result for alcohol.

Her passenger, a 60-year-old man, was also given a roadside breath test, which allegedly returned a positive result.

Both were arrested and taken to Wyong Police Station, where they underwent another a breath analysis.

Police say the woman returned a reading of 0.183 and the man registered a reading of 0.162.

They were both issued court attendance notices for high-range PCA offences and will appear at Wyong Local Court on June 28.
