If you dream of owning or operating a spa, here's a piece of good news. The award-winning Chiva-Som International Academy of the internationally renowned Chiva-Som International Health Resorts is opening Thai and English courses on spa management and development for interested members of the public.
The Spa Development course, which is designed for would-be owners and operators, covers the setting up of a spa from conception to opening. The two Thai classes will take place from May 6-10 and Nov 4-8, while the English classes will be held from June 17–21 and Oct 7-11.
The Spa Management course, recommended for spa managers as well as aspirants, aims to provide attendants with insightful knowledge about the day-to-day operation of a wellness spa. The Thai classes are scheduled from May 12-16 and Nov 11-15, and the English classes from June 24-28 and Oct 14–18.
The Chiva-Som International Academy is located on Sukhumvit 63 (Ekkamai). Each class requires 30 hours of attendance. Seats are limited. Every attendant who completes a course will be awarded a certificate. Applications should be made 30 days before the selected class begins.
