Learmonth Terrace in Edinburgh cordoned off by police after man found injured

An Edinburgh street has been cordoned off by emergency services after a man was found badly injured.

Police say they were called to Learmonth Terrace, just off Queensferry Road, at 9.50am on Sunday after reports that a person was seriously hurt. The casualty has since been rushed to hospital by ambulance.

A number of people reported seeing multiple emergency services vehicles in the area, close to Dean Park Crescent.

At least seven police vehicles and two ambulances were in attendance this morning, and police tape was put up in the surrounding area to allow officers to investigate.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Edinburgh Live: "Officers attended Learmonth Terrace at 9.50am after a man was found injured. He has been taken to hospital and enquiries are currently ongoing."
