The countdown is on for when this year's John Lewis Christmas advert will be released with the retailer's offering always being one of the most popular.
Photographs claiming to show filming for this year's John Lewis advert have been shared with the ECHO - but are they real?
We were sent two photographs; the first shows an adult sat next to a child in a hospital bed - the room is decorated with tinsel and other Christmas decorations.
The second photograph appears to show Father Christmas sat on a large chair with a book open in his hands.
With the indication a hospital is going to play a role in this year's advert we can't help but think it is set to be a tearjerker.
Although, of course, there is no confirmed proof the photographs are real as they could be a hoax. It wouldn't be the first time someone has claimed to 'leak' a John Lewis advert.
Last year Radio X presenter Chris Moyles was behind the 'leaked' footage which sparked widespread speculation about the festive ad.
The ECHO has reached out to John Lewis today who refused to confirm or deny if the photographs were real. The retailer never comments on the advert so it is not spoilt for viewers.

When will this year's John Lewis advert be released?
Last year's advert was released on Friday, November 15 and we are expecting the advert to drop around the same time this year too.
