Leaked images of 2021/22 Newcastle Castore kits emerge ahead of the club's official launch this weekend

Ahead of the official unveiling of Newcastle United's new Castore home shirt, images have been leaked online.

The photograph appears to have been taken in a shop warehouse and the design of the home shirt matches that of a different image seen by ChronicleLive last month.

The second shirt remains a mystery. It could be either an away shirt, or third kit with supporters also speculating that it is one of the 2021/22 goalkeeper shirts.

The shirts pictured appear to be small adult replicas rather than 'pro-versions' that will be worn by players during games. Pro-version shirts will be available for fans to buy, but will come with a higher price point. Replicas will be sold in higher quantities with Castore promising that the pricing for those will be in-line with the rest of the market.

On Thursday afternoon Newcastle tweeted a teaser image of the new Castore players' shirt with the message: 'Saturday. 8am' suggesting that is the day official details and images of the home shirt will be released.

The away and third kits will be unveiled in the coming weeks with physical shirts not potentially in the hands of supporters until later in the month.
