The addition of the Greggs vegan sausage roll was a game changer in the eyes of many - unless your name is Piers Morgan, of course.
Its introduction at the start of 2019 saw a new wave of fans waxing lyrical about the savoury treats at the bakery chain and now it looks as though the next batch of vegan options will be rolled out very soon.
Greggs initially confirmed it would be expanding its vegan selection in December - but has so far remained tight-lipped on the exact options that are on the way.
However, the leaked photo below seems to show what we can expect to be hitting the shelves in 2020.
Shared on Twitter by Vegan Food UK, it appears to show a vegan steak bake, with a price tag of £1.55 to take away.
The caption says: "Savoury flavour Quorn mycoprotein pieces and diced onions in gravy, wrapped in crisp puff pastry."
Greggs are yet to confirm the news, so the photo should be taken with a rather large pinch of salt for the time being - but it won't stop vegans from salivating at the prospect of biting into their first vegan steak bake.
If the 2019 announcement of the vegan sausage roll is anything to go by, we can expect the 2020 announcement very soon after New Year's Day... so keep your eyes peeled.
