Leaked details emerge of Arsenal's 2020/21 away kit that new signings could wear next season

Details have emerged of the away kit that Arsenal could wear next season.

The Gunners' current away strip draws inspiration from the iconic 1991 'bruised banana' kit, featuring a subtle triangular print and blue trim.

But according to footyheadlines, next season's shirt will not be yellow but 'cloud white', which will appear like a shade of grey.

The report says the colour is currently used for some of adidas' boots and other products, but will be seen up and down the country next year when the north Londoners play away from the Emirates.

Arsenal signed a £300 million deal with adidas last July, with the German manufacturers to produce the Gunners' kits for the next five-years.

Mikel Arteta's side will earn £60 million per season - one of the biggest deals in the Premier League, but still behind Manchester United's deal with adidas which is worth £75 million a year.

On the pitch, Arsenal are expected to be busy in this month's transfer window as the Gunners search for defensive reinforcements.

Calum Chambers' serious injury has seen Arteta's side linked with a host of defenders including RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano and Bayern Munich's Jerome Boateng.

After the FA Cup third round win over Leeds United, Arsenal boss Arteta was asked by a reporter at his press conference about the links with Boateng.

"We don't talk about any transfers and we are working on a few things," he said.

"When the club has something to say I will let you know."
