Mansfield Town have been tipped as favourites for promotion to League One - but bookmakers SportNation.Bet suggest Newport County can pull off a shock surprise.
The Stags, who missed out on automatic promotion on the final day by three points, are the most likely team in the play offs to be the final promoted side joining Lincoln City, Bury and MK Dons - having a 33% chance of success.
The clash between Mansfield and seventh-placed Newport County will eliminate one of the two favourites - Mike Flynn's Welsh Dragons, who are second favourites (25%) will be full of confidence having gone 10 games unbeaten to make it to the post-season knockout stage.
Furthermore, Newport go into the play-offs with omens on their side - the team that has finished 7th has been promoted five times in the last 10 years, three times more than any other position.
They also have big-game experience this season having beaten Leicester and Middlesbrough and narrowly lost to Man City in this season's FA Cup.

In the battle of the Rovers, Forest Green have the upper-hand over Tranmere heading into the tie - the Gloucestershire side have a 23% chance of going up while Tranmere, who were promoted to League Two from the National League play-offs last season, have a slight 20% chance of making it back to back promotions.
A SportNation.Bet spokesman said: "Promotion would already be in their hands had Mansfield not lost their last three games, however we do still put them as favourites to right their wrongs.
"They do have an uphill task of getting there though as Newport are by far the in-form side of the four and have history on their side. It would be foolish also to rule out Tranmere who can also cause a threat - knowing how to get the job done having had success in the play-offs last season."
