League Two clubs vote to end season with immediate effect on weighted points-per-game basis

League Two clubs have reportedly voted to end the season straight away and settle final standings on a weighted points-per-game basis.

The decision, which is yet to be ratified by the EFL or the FA, would see every remaining game cancelled apart from the two-legged play-off semi-finals and the final.

As per the weighted points-per-game standings, Crewe Alexandra, Swindon Town and Plymouth Argyle would be promoted and Stevenage would be relegated.

Cheltenham Town, Exeter City, Colchester United and Northampton Town would enter the play-offs.

The fact that League Two clubs are unable to pay for coronavirus testing equipment or for players to come off furlough is central to the decision.
