League to announce 58 prospects to participate in NFL virtual draft

The 2020 NFL Draft is just weeks away and will be broadcast as scheduled using a completely virtual format. With all team facilities closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, club coaches, staff members and select NFL hopefuls will be participating from remote locations.

Putting together all the logistics for the new format has been harried to say the least, but the league is almost set to announce the 58 prospects who will be participating in the NFL draft’s virtual production.

We know of five players who have been confirmed to appear so far: LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts, Ohio State defensive end Chase Young, Alabama receiver Jerry Jeudy and Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor.

The remaining 53 prospects will be announced Thursday evening at 5:00 p.m. PT on the NFL Network’s “Path to the Draft.” The NFL draft will take place April 23-25 and will be televised by numerous outlets and on multiple platforms.
