Sunderland have once again been named as favourites to win the League One title in the upcoming season.
Phil Parkinson's side have been named 13/2 favourites ahead of Portsmouth and Charlton, to make it third time lucky in their pursuit to get back to the Championship.
That is according to the EFL's official betting partner Sky Bet.
They name the Black Cats as their favourites, with Portsmouth 8/1 and Charlton, despite their off-field troubles, 9/1 - a priced shared with Peterborough United.
The market changes slightly for promotion, rather than the title outright, but Sunderland remain favourites at 9/4. The difference in that market is that Portsmouth and Peterborough are joint second-favourites 11/4, and Charlton then 3/1.
But news that Sunderland are tipped by Sky Bet to go up may not be the most pleasing news for Sunderland fans.
It won't be surprising to learn that Sunderland have been favourites to win the League One title in both of the last two seasons - and on both occasions they've failed to earn promotion. Last season they were named joint-favourites with Ipswich, who this time around are just 7/2 to be promoted, and 11/1 to win the title.
Elsewhere, Wigan Athletic's uncertain future harms their odds. The Latics have won promotion the last twice they've been in this division, but are in administration, and losing players at an alarming rate as they desperately seek new owners to ensure their survival.
Sky Bet make them 20/1 to win the league, and 11/2 to be promoted.
Hull City were the third team to be relegated from the Championship last term. With George Honeyman on side, the Tiger are 12/1 to win the title and 11/2 to be promoted.
