David Prutton says there is little to separate Bristol City and Swansea City this weekend.
The Robins host Swansea in what should be a fascinating encounter, with both sides among the early-season pace setters.
City currently sit fourth in the table, two points behind the second-placed Swans, who are level on points with leaders Leeds United.
Sky Sports pundit Prutton has predicted a 1-1 draw in the match but feels City will be hampered by the absence of Benik Afobe, who has been ruled out for the season.
He said: "Could this be the season Bristol City break into the top six?
"They were given a big helping hand by Joe Allen at Stoke last week, but they still had to come from behind to win the game and it is six unbeaten now.
"Losing Benik Afobe is a big blow for them, though.
"Steve Cooper tasted defeat for the first time against Nottingham Forest and it will be interesting to see how Swansea recover from that setback.
"Score draw here for me."
