Leading data analyst makes League One prediction - where Bristol Rovers, Sunderland and Portsmouth finish

Bristol Rovers have just a six per cent chance of relegation.

That's according to the data modelling website Five Thirty Eight , which has created a model to predict how League One will finish - and it is good news for the Gas.

Five Thirty Eight is the brainchild of world famous data analyst Nate Silver, who was named one of the world's 100 most influential people after correctly calling the outcomes of the 2008 and 2012 US elections.

Yet his background is in sports data modelling, and his League One model has predicted the Gas to finish comfortably in mid-table.

The Gas are predicted to finish five points above the relegation zone, with AFC Wimbledon, Southend United, Rochdale and Bradford City all going down.

Coventry City fans are all saying the same thing about facing in-form Bristol Rovers striker Jonson Clarke-Harris
