Rachael Stuckey, managing director of Lynchpin Media Hub Ltd, explains why Tanya Lynch, co-founder of Business Women Connect, should win the Leader of the Year category of the Guardian Small Business Showcase competition:
Tanya is passionate about helping women in business reach their full potential. She offers her time and support no matter what stage each women is at in her business, or how busy she is with her own ventures.
She is keen to connect with all members of Business Women Connect, and to encourage collaborations between the women within each individual hub in our local towns.
Tanya is passionate about broadcasting women’s (and men’s) success stories via her media platforms and makes use of her media connections in TV, radio, print and online. She’s great at getting local entrepreneurs as guest speakers to our monthly events and their inspirational stories have been very effective at motivating our members, especially when times are challenging.
Tanya is planning to launch Business Women Connect hubs all across Wales, expanding on the five hubs that currently exist.
All entries which meet the competition criteria are published and our judging panel select a shortlist of the top three for each category. Winners are announced at an awards ceremony in summer 2016.
