The team at Vertex Access is only small – there are just five of us in total, including three directors.
Our youngest director is Stu Martin. At 26, Stu has a wealth of business experience. Graduating from Sheffield Hallam University in 2010 with a degree in business and ICT, Stu already had experience in the industry after working at Alternative Access Logistics alongside his studies.
Stu joined Vertex Access as director when it launched in November 2013 and since then has lead the way in developing and growing the business to what it is today. In particular Stu has helped develop our air division, putting his technological knowledge and expertise into enhancing the profile of our UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) service.
With a variety of skills, Stu gets stuck in with all tasks – one day you’ll find him in the office helping with the day-to-day running of Vertex, tomorrow he’ll be out flying our UAV, and the day after he’ll be at a business meeting with one of the country’s biggest construction contractors.
As a director Stu sets a great example, inspiring the other staff to get involved in all areas and embrace everything that the business does, gaining them more skills and experience in various areas.
