Nom Foods is an award-winning food business with strong brand values, which launched in July 2013 with a range of health bars. It was founded by Steph, who spotted a gap in the market for nutritious free-from products after being diagnosed with severe allergies at university.

Nom bars are made with superfood ingredients like coconut oil, coconut palm sugar, oat bran and cacao – they don’t contain any refined sugars, are free-from dairy and are made only with low GI, natural alternatives to sugar. Nom bars aim to help people who are looking for health and convenience, and also to add to the value of food, rather than just leaving out the bad stuff.

Steph’s guiding principles are that all Nom products are ethical, nutritious, organic and plant-based.

Since launch, (18 months of trading), Steph has driven the business forward on her own, and has secured listings with; Ocado, Tesco, Whole Foods, Holland & Barrett, Planet Organic, and many other health food stores, cafes, delis and gyms.

In 2015, Steph is crowdfunding and aims to raise investment to drive the business forward, scale up and launch new products.
