Actress and singer Lea Michele has been seen for the first time since news of her Glee co-star Naya Rivera's death.
Naya, 33, was found dead in the waters of Lake Piru, Ventura in California following a boating trip with her four-year-old son Josey.
He was found alone in a rental boat and revealed his mother had never made it back out of the water.
The six-day search ended in tragedy when Naya's loved ones had the worst confirmed.
On Tuesday, Lea was seen on a drive with her mother Edith through the Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles, California.
The pregnant 33-year-old actress looked downcast as she spoke with her mother.
Following news of Naya's death, Lea uploading a black-and-white image of her former co-star in memory of the talented performer.
Lea then uploaded and a black-and-white image of her late co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith, who died in 2013 of an accidental drug overdose at the age of 31.
Naya was found dead on the seventh anniversary of Cory's tragic death.
Finally, Lea uploaded a third black-and-white shot that showed Lea with Naya and other cast members from behind as they overlooked a beach.
Since Naya disappeared a week ago, Lea faced abuse on social media, prompting her to delete her Twitter account.
Lea, who is currently expecting her first child with husband Zandy Reich, 37, had recently become the focus of criticism from her former co-stars for her alleged on-set behaviour.
Naya herself had previously admitted she had a fiery relationship with Lea in her 2016 book Sorry, Not Sorry.
Naya wrote: "Lea and I definitely weren't the best of friends, and I doubt we’ll ever sit on her couch and eat kale together again, but the rumors of our 'feud' were blown out of proportion."
She added: "We are both strong willed and competitive - not just with each other but with everyone - and that’s not a good mixture ..."
Lea is best known for playing theatre-obsessed Rachel Berry on Glee, while Rivera portrayed sassy cheerleader Santana Lopez.
They each appeared in all six seasons of the Fox musical comedy.
