Lea Michele has shared an image of the tattoo she has had on her ribcage to honour her late Glee co-star, the actor Cory Monteith.
Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room in 2013 after a heroin and alcohol overdose, aged 31. He had been treated for substance abuse in rehab aged 19 and checked into rehab again in March 2013.
He played the role of quarterback Finn Hudson in Glee, who was in a relationship with Michele’s character Rachel Berry.
“And one more.. for my quarterback..,” she wrote alongside the post. The number 5 was on the back of Hudson’s football jersey in Glee.
Michele also added a small tattoo on her finger to honour her grandmother, who passed away this week.
