Lea Michele branded 'despicable human being' by former Broadway co-star

Another of Lea Michele's former co-stars has launched a scathing attack on her, calling her a "despicable human being".

Craig Ramsay, who starred in Fiddler on the Roof alongside Lea in the early 2000s, accused Lea of changing when she landed her role as Rachel Berry in Glee, calling her "one of the most entitled people" he has ever met.

It comes after several of Lea's former co-stars made similar accusations, which started when Glee actress Samantha Ware said Lea "made her life a living hell" and accused her of threatening to defecate in her wig.

Speaking on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast, Craig has now opened up on his own experiences working with Lea.

He said: "I just didn't want to hear Lea Michele's name in this interview. At all! I think she's a despicable, horrible human being. I think she has lost touch with reality. We were in 'Fiddler' together."

Craig added: "As far as Lea Michele is concerned, I think she is one of the most entitled people I have ever come across in this business!"

The actor claims he was in the room when Lea got the call to say she had landed a part in 'Glee'.

He claimed "the entitlement just came over her body".

Craig continued: "She was possessed with this and from that moment on - cause she moved to LA the same moment I did from New York - and I cared for her greatly, but the amount of entitlement ... I have never seen the likes of it, especially Broadways.

"You can't mess with Broadway. You can get a reputation very quick if you don't respect where you come from."

Mirror Online has contacted Lea's reps for comment.

Samantha hit back at Lea after the pregnant star took to Twitter to show support for George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement.

After the allegations Lea made a public apology.

She said: "While I don't remember ever making this specific statement and I have never judged others by their background or colour of their skin, that's not really the point.

"What matters is that I clearly acted in ways which hurt other people. Whether it was my privileged position and perspective that caused me to be perceived as insensitive or inappropriate at times...

"Or whether it was just my immaturity and me just being unnecessarily difficult, I apologise for my behaviour and for any pain which I have caused.

"We can all grow and change and I have definitely used these past several months to reflect on my own shortcomings."

After Samantha's tweet, a number of Lea's former co-stars chimed in with their own stories.

Among the shocking claims that followed she was accused of calling extras "cockroaches" and burping in a black woman's faces.
