Lea Michele has been accused of making life for Glee co-star Samantha Marie Ware “a living hell” in a shock Twitter exchange.
The pregnant 33-year-old TV star has come under fire from her 28-year-old former co-star – who has accused Lea of abusive behaviour.
Samantha hit back at Lea after she took to Twitter to show support for George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement over the weekend.
Lea tweeted on Saturday: “George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter.”
However, Samantha hit out at Lea on Monday to blast the actress for unkind behaviour – and claims she was almost driven out of Hollywood herself due to the abuse she claims she suffered.
Replying on Twitter, Samantha wrote: “Remember when you made my first television gig a living hell?!?! Cause I’ll never forget.
“I believe you told everyone that if you had the opportunity you would ‘s*** in my wig!’ amongst other traumatic microaggressions."
She went on to say the experience: "made me question a career in Hollywood.”
Samantha starred in 11 episodes of Glee in 2015, playing a character named Jane Hayward and with the show listed as her first TV project.
She has since starred in other television shows including Chicago Med, God Friended Me, and the Netflix drama What/If.
Lea had a main role on Glee, playing Rachel Berry, and featured throughout all six seasons of the Ryan Murphy created show.
She won two Golden Globe nominations and one Emmy nomination for her role.
Lea is currently expecting her first ever child with husband Zandy Reich.
