Le’Veon Bell tweets he’s ‘ready to go’ after Jets release

Le’Veon Bell is thrilled to be off of the New York Jets.

The Jets officially released Bell on Tuesday night after trying to trade the running back. However, the Jets ultimately couldn’t get anything in return for Bell and both parties agreed that a release was in the best interest of both sides.

Bell immediately took to Twitter after getting released and posted the blessed emoji in one of his tweets. He then tweeted that he has a lot to prove and that he’s ready to go for whatever team wants to sign him.

The final straw in Bell’s tenure with the Jets came a couple of days ago when he was liking tweets on Twitter about getting traded and not being more of a factor in the passing game. Adam Gase said on Monday that he wished Bell hadn’t gone the social media route and preferred the running back coming to him to talk about things.

Now Bell will have a chance to report to a new head coach after just 17 games with the Jets.
