Le’Veon Bell says he wants to retire a Steeler

Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell hasn’t played a snap of football since 2021. But he isn’t convinced he couldn’t still play some snaps. And he knows where he wants to do it when he officially retires.

Bell talked about his life, his career and his future on the Steel Here Podcast and offered up a lot of revelations, some we knew and some we didn’t.

One of those that I have to admit I didn’t expect was the Bell said since he never officially retired, he’d like to get back out there, get a few snaps in to show everyone he’s still got it and then retire as a Steeler.

“I never officially retired,” Bell said. “efore I do that, I may be like, hey, let me get a couple of carries in the preseason so I can show y’all something.”

Bell was widely regarded as one of the best running backs in the NFL during his time with the Steelers. But greed and hubris ruined what could have been a Hall of Fame career. Would you all be OK with Bell returning to the Steelers so h can retire with the team that made him great and the team he turned his back on?
