Le’Veon Bell’s latest tweet rubs some Steelers fans the wrong way

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell is always good for a tweet to stir up fans every now and then. Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert announced on Wednesday the team would not be using the transition tag on Bell. Clearly, Bell was excited as he sent out this tweet quoting the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and plenty of fans weren’t pleased.

Just go to Bell’s tweet and check out the replies. Many did not appreciate Bell using such a powerful and iconic line to describe him entering NFL free agency.

Not tagging Bell was the only smart option the Steelers had. Bell doesn’t want to be in Pittsburgh and with the team trying to move away from all the drama and nonsense, it’s doubtful the front office wanted him back. James Conner established himself as the featured back and made this decision easy for the Steelers.

The only remaining question is who pays Bell. There should be plenty of interested teams, but we will all be waiting to see if Bell really gets the kind of money he believes he is worth.
