For reasons yet to be determined, former Pittsburgh Steelers and current New York Jets running back Le’Veon Bell was in Pittsburgh over the weekend. He was supposedly spotted at the courthouse and as you can see from the video above enjoys some gyros while he was in town.
But this isn’t about Bell being in town. It’s about how many Steelers’ fans reacted to the news. Just peruse the replies to Bell’s post. Steelers fans are desperate to get Bell back.
Bell left the Steelers to join the Jets last offseason as a free agent. For hin to potentially come back Jets would have to trade him to Pittsburgh and the steelers could have to figure out a way to fit his salary in under the cap.
It’s kind of remarkable how many fans are willing to welcome Bell back with open arms. Bell held this team hostage for all of 2018 and essentially gave up on this team when they needed him most. Fans might be willing to put that aside but I’m betting the front office won’t.
