Italian side Lazio have suspended an eagle trainer after he was caught giving a fascist salute in front of the fans and singing in praise of Benito Mussolini.
The Serie A heavyweights have a pre-match display which involves the bird of prey, named Olimpia, flying around the stadium.
Spaniard Juan Bernabè is the owner of the eagle, but has been suspended by the club after a sick video surfaced on line.
Lazio's ultras have deep links to the far-right, frequently displaying fascist imagery and earning the club sanctions for racist abuse.
Ahead of a Europa League game with Celtic in 2019 the Irriducibili group were filmed marching through Glasgow giving salutes and singing 'Avanti Ragazzi di Buda', a song with connections to the neo-fascist movement in Italy.
Bernabè was filmed before a game giving a fascist salute to the fans in the stands at the Stadio Olimpico and joining in with a chant of 'Duce! Duce!'.
That name, meaning 'Duke', was given to the fascist dictator of Italy Benito Mussolini during his reign.
A Lazio statement announced that they had suspended Bernabè and pointed out that he is contracted to an outside company.
Mussolini's great-grandson Romano Floriani Mussolini is on the club's books, having signed a professional contract until 2024.
