Layvin Kurzawa drops Arsenal transfer hint as he joins UK-based agency

Layvin Kurzawa has dropped the biggest hint yet that he is edging closer to sealing a move to Arsenal in January after announcing he has joined a UK-based agency.

Standard Sport understands the Gunners are in talks over a cut-price deal to sign the 27-year-old from Paris Saint-Germain.

Kurzawa would be available for free at the end of the season, but Arsenal are exploring the possibility of signing him this month for a nominal fee to ease their troubles at left-back.

And the France international indicated that the move is progressing quickly after announcing on Friday that he has joined the Sports Invest UK company, which is based in London and owned by renowned agent Kia Joorabchian.

"Big news!! i am very excited to join the Sports Invest UK family," Kurzawa tweeted from his official Twitter account on Friday morning.

The move for Kurzawa comes after Mikel Arteta suggested the club would attempt to bring in a full-back in January following injuries to defenders Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney.

“We are playing with full-backs that are not full-backs,” Arteta said on Wednesday.

“They are wingers or central midfielders and could we afford to lose full-backs? No, but we don’t have any full-backs.”
