Layer Cake actress tagged after ‘interfering’ with parked cars

Conviction: Nathalie Lunghi-Joffe with mother Cherie Lunghi (Picture: PA)

An actress who made her big-screen debut as a teenager alongside Daniel Craig has been ordered to wear an electronic tag after being caught “interfering” with parked cars.

Nathalie Lunghi-Joffe, 33, was spotted acting suspiciously around a Range Rover and Vauxhall Zafira in a street near her family’s £1.5million Chelsea apartment.

She was arrested and Westminster magistrates’ court heard in mitigation that Lunghi-Joffe, who gave her occupation as unemployed actress, had been trying to find a vehicle to sleep in.

She was convicted last month of two charges of interfering with a vehicle on January 5. She pleaded guilty to failing to attend a previous hearing at City of London magistrates’ court.

Lunghi-Joffe was 18 when she appeared with Craig and Sienna Miller in 2004 movie Layer Cake. She has also starred in teen drama The Things I Haven’t Told You and ITV1 comedy The Palace.

She is the daughter of actress Cherie Lunghi, known for her roles in TV drama The Manageress and as the face of Kenco coffee. Her father is Roland Joffe, director of The Killing Fields.

Lunghi-Joffe was represented by a duty solicitor when she appeared on April 3. She was fined £360 and made subject to a 28-day community order, which includes obeying an electronically tagged curfew between 6pm and 6am.
