Michael Avenatti, the telegenic attorney best known for representing porn star Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against President Donald Trump, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly assaulting his ex-wife, according to a report.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ Avenatti was charged with felony domestic assault after allegedly beating up his ex at a ritzy apartment building in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Avenatti was reportedly still in custody Wednesday afternoon.
The high-profile attorney could not immediately be reached for comment.
