Lawrence Shankland has been spotted in training with Rangers captain James Tavernier.
The out-of-contract Hearts skipper joined Tavernier alongside Newcastle United and England ace Kieran Trippier for a warm-weather coaching camp in Dubai.
Both players are clearly keen to keep themselves sharp ahead of pre-season, with Tavernier due back at Rangers on Monday morning for Russell Martin's first day with the players.
Shankland is without a club, and while Derek McInnes hopes to convince the striker to re-sign at Tynecastle, the Scotland international is attracting interest from south of the border, having been heavily linked with West Brom, as well as other clubs abroad.
Elite performance coach Chris Bowman took to Instagram to share an image of the Scottish Premiership rivals after they took part in an intense session in the sizzling UAE sun.
Bowman shared several clips of the Shankland, Tavernier and Trippier being put through their paces.
